Goethe-Institut Photo Blog “Environmental Images”

February 22, 2009

The Goethe-Institut has started a blog with several American, Canadian, and German photographers to “engage in a dialogue about the environment – through pictures. The blog is a chance to let artists speak to each other in the language of pictures. Visitors are invited to see how the dialogue develops – and eventually to add their own comments.” Photographers participating are Christian Wolter, Isabelle Hayeur, Robert Voit, Jim Dougherty, and Alexa St. Clair.

Looking forward to seeing what types of discussions develop, and hopefully chatting with the photographers themselves. To visit the new blog please click here.

My own photography for a greener planet

February 19, 2009

Apologies for the break in posting, but I’ve been busy working on my own photography for a greener planet, with a show that recently opened in Brooklyn just last Thursday. It’s up until April 5th, for those of you in the New York area who’d like to stop by. I’ll have new posts on many more environmentally conscious photographers up soon…
